AnSc Graduate Students Support AFIA Funded Project

Animal science graduate students Joey Mielke and Michaela Trudeau were part of a research project funded by the American Feed Industry Association. The project titled, Hazard Analysis in Feed Ingredients for FSMA Compliance seeks to provide animal food manufacturers with an easy way to identify the most likely hazards that could occur in the various ingredients they use to make their products. The project was supported through a partnership between the College of Veterinary Medicine and the Center for Animal Health and Food Safety (CAHFS).
