WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE:

All college students, regardless of curriculum or class standing, are invited to attend.

In order to be eligible to interview for full time employment, a student must be a senior or graduate from a 4-year program at a qualified university between September 1, 2006 and December 31, 2007. Students with majors in poultry and animal science, food science, engineering, industrial technology, veterinary medicine, and business are eligible to participate, in addition to other poultry-related studies. Participating students are divided into three categories:

  • Category 1 - Financial Assistance:  Senior or graduate students from eligible universities who have not previously received financial assistance in this program.
  • Category 2 - Financial Assistance:  Undergraduate students with pre-scheduled interviews for internships.  (Up to five per university, excluding freshmen.)
  • Category 3 - No Financial Assistance:  All other students from participating universities.

NOTE:  To get an accurate count of participants, students in all three categories must sign in at the Student Program booth.
