Description: One Breeding Farm Internship beginning July 1, 2008. The goal of the program is to provide advanced training in equine breeding farm procedures and management. The program is aimed preferentially for people with a sincere desire to pursue a career in the equine breeding industry. Interns will participate in a 1-year program. Applicants should have recently completed a BS degree in Equine Sciences, Animal Science or related discipline. The is a non-degree program. A certificate of achievement will be provided upon successful completion of the program. Job placement assistance will be available upon request. Salary and housing on-site at the Equine Reproduction Laboratory on the Foothills Campus of Colorado State University will be provided. More information...

Lee Campbell Poultry & Egg Educational Foundation 2008 Summer Internship -
The summer of 2008, the Foundation will offer an internship program for an outstanding college student. The intern selected will be given the opportunity to work in the "International Marketing Department" in one of the most progressive poultry companies in the United States. The intern work location will be in the Southeastern part of the U.S. The Foundation will grant the intern $1500 at the beginning of the internship to defray travel and housing expenses. The salary paid to the intern will way, but firms usually offer about $500/week. The student will also be awarded $1,000 at the end of the summer 2008 program for submitting an acceptable paper that discusses an aspect of poultry controls. Juniors and Sophomores are preferred. Application deadline is March 17, 2008.
