Midwest Regional ADSA
February 24-26, 2006
Nearly 50 Gopher Dairy Club members traveled to Madison, Wisconsin, February 24-26 to attend the annual Midwest Regional American Dairy Science Association (ADSA), student affiliate division conference. While there, club members competed in a dairy bowl competition, sang karoke, attended workshops, and of course danced. Gopher Dairy Club had a record year this year taking home almost all top awards given out at the awards banquet held Saturday evening. GDC took first place in Junior Dairy Bowl, Senior Dairy Bowl, Nutrition Quiz Bowl, Website, Largest Club, karoke, and yearbook. The weekend event was fun for the entire club and is looking forward to heading to Kansas State next year and hosting the National ADSA conference in Minneapolis this summer!
