About Gopher Dairy Club

The Gopher Dairy Club is one of the most active student organizations on the University of Minnesota's Twin Cities campus. We hold monthly meetings during the academic year as well as participate in a variety of activities including: Regional and National American Dairy Science Association (ADSA), Minnesota Royal, an annual awards banquet, a senior trip to California, and an alumni reunion at World Dairy Expo. 

We are also run the Gopher Dairy Bar at the Minnesota State Fair. The profit from sales of milkshakes and ice cream cones results in the Gopher Dairy Club having the largest budget of any student organization on the Twin Cities campus, and permits members to travel free of charge to numerous dairy events around the country.

Announcements

The 2011 edition of The Showbox, the Gopher Dairy Club's newsletter, is now available.

Thank you to Land O'Lakes! - Land O'Lakes has donated $10,000 to the Gopher Dairy Bar. The funds will be used to offer members great opportunities to learn more about the dairy industry.

Dairy Salesroom - The Dairy Salesroom offers dairy products made from milk produced by the St. Paul Campus dairy herd; open Wednesdays, 3:00-5:00 p.m.; located in Rm 166 Andrew Boss Lab of Meat Science (ABLMS) on the St. Paul Campus (directions).
