Minnesota Dairy Days-2007 was presented by the University of Minnesota Extension Service in partnership with Minnesota Milk Producers Association.

Minnesota Dairy Days provides the opportunity for dairy producers and dairy advisors to hear the latest research-based information from University of Minnesota educators and researchers.

The 2007 series offered sessions on the following topics:

• The ethanol revolution: How will we feed cows in the future
• Sexed semen: Is it finally a reality?
• Feeding strategies to raise healthy calves to 60 days of age
• 100,000 SCC in Minnesota: Why not?
• Puts, contracts and hedging: How good would my marketing plan have been?
• Drug residue avoidance in dairy beef
• Do cows last longer in compost barns?
• Breaking the chain of disease transmission on the dairy farm

Minnesota Milk Producers Association conducted a Dairy Producers Forum at each location to give those in the dairy industry the opportunity to discuss matters of interest and express thoughts on what the industry, government and the University can do for them.
