Due
to University of Minnesota biosecurity policies, the Ag Awareness committee
asks you to comply with the following guidelines and procedures to ensure
a successful and healthy Ag Awareness!
-
Students should wear clean clothing and shoes that have not been
worn to another farm or zoo.
-
Do
not touch the animals unless you have received permission to do
so.
-
If
you handle animals, please wash your hands before leaving the Livestock
Pavilion.
-
All
students who may have been in Great Britain, France, the Netherlands
or any other country must not have had contact with a hooved animal
for 7 days prior to coming to Ag Awareness.
-
Students
should not feed animals or have contact with any feed unless instructed
to by an Ag Awareness leader.
