Biosecurity Protocol

Due to University of Minnesota biosecurity policies, the Ag Awareness committee asks you to comply with the following guidelines and procedures to ensure a successful and healthy Ag Awareness!
  • Students should wear clean clothing and shoes that have not been worn to another farm or zoo.
  • Do not touch the animals unless you have received permission to do so.
  • If you handle animals, please wash your hands before leaving the Livestock Pavilion.
  • All students who may have been in Great Britain, France, the Netherlands or any other country must not have had contact with a hooved animal for 7 days prior to coming to Ag Awareness.
  • Students should not feed animals or have contact with any feed unless instructed to by an Ag Awareness leader.
