A new program for 2014, geared toward consumers, designed to overview the beef industry from farm to fork and beyond. Attendees will learn about beef cattle production systems, beef quality influencers, and how to incorporate beef into a healthy, fit lifestyle. This program is a joint collaboration between University of Minnesota Meat Science and the Minnesota Beef Council.
Discover how well YOUR genetics perform in the feedlot and on the rail. The Minnesota Carcass Merit Program is a custom feeding program which generates a detailed report on live performance, carcass quality, and cattle profitability.
This program, which is held at multiple locations around the state, provides current information on issues facing the beef industry and new technologies available to cow/calf producers.
